Hello, I have some finance data sources that i am doing the init with data transfer. but after i initiated it just never finishes. if i do a full repair the data comes in quickly but with init with data transfer it says 0 of 0 records and when i check the job in source system it is stuck at Function module does not exist and the next line says Saved. what should i do?
Thanks.
Hello Venkat,
Have you checked whether or not that Function Module truly exists in your source system? Some extractors can call different programs based on which mode (Delta / Full) they run on.
Also, are those datasources new, or they were running before but had to be re-initialized? Which datasources are you facing issues with?
Including the job log to this thread would make it easier for us to determine the issue.
Hope it helps,

Hi Vekant,
Which extractor you are facing the problem?
Can you check the extractor in RSA3..will it show data?
How many records comes as output in rsa3.
If above two steps are working that means your data source is fine.
Please check.

Ganesh Bothe

Hi,
Try to check at extractor behavior at RSA3.
if you have very less data, then run full load, next time init without data transfer.
next time onwards continue your delta info pack loads.
at which environment your facing this issue dev/qua/prd?
delete existing info pack, replicate your data source again, activate. create new info pack and try again to load thru init with data transfer.
Thanks
