Unable to connect from HANA cloud integration agent to SQL Server

Dear all,

Yesterday, I successfully created an AWS instance running SAP HANA 1 Developer Edition. I also appear to have successfully set up SAP HANA Studio, Client and Cloud Integration Agent in a Windows Server 2008 virtual machine running under VMWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro machine.

I have Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 running in the same virtual machine, but I can't find any way to connect Cloud Integration to SQL Server to set it up as a Datastore. If I test the connection, I always get:

testConnection error - testConnection remote exception: Failed to submit metadata browsing request to the queue. Connection refusedFailed to submit metadata browsing request to the queue. Connection refused

I have specified the SQLServer version as Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and tried all the different names for the Database server that I can think of, but nothing works. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the Agent, which claims to be online, but nothing works.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong here, or how I can identify the issue?

Regards,

Trevor
