Hub deployment approach and impacts on SRM


Hi all

Sorry not a tecky, but got asked the question,is there any impact on SRM if we use a hub approach to maintaining the Gateway?

In our system our only offline approvals are via outlook. So no mobile devises. However, some of the SRM documentation says that the SRM Netweaver Gateway is required for SRM. I gather a gateway would be required but could it not be part of the suite that a hub would encompass or does it need to be maintained outside of the hub? If so, can you tell me why? Would it make a material difference if we were having offline approvals via a mobile app?
