Android Mobile connection with SAP Business Object error (MOB06031).

Dear Consultant

We are currently using SAP Business Object Edge Series 3.1. now my management requirement is to connect Android or I PAD devices with SAP BO to view reports on mobile.

when i tried to connect Android mobile with following method then i got error an error (MOB06031).

1) add connection

         a) type connection name (XYZ)

         b)mobile server url : http://serverip:8080

         c) CMC : CMC NAME

         d) username and password

         e) authentication type: enterprise

When i read more I found that BI mobile server and BI explorer installation is required to connect mobile devices.

     You will need to be on XI 3.1 w/ SP5 in order to work properly with Android related OS.   We have customer the exact same configuration using Samsung Galaxy products.

DO NOT GO to SP6, it will NOT work with Android Mobile APP.  We had work with SAP Support and manually deploy SP5 mobile WAR files

what patch level is your Xi3.1 Edge at ?

You should be on Sp6 + to be fully compatible with latest Mobile apps.

We have not deployed any service pack on our BO server.

Business object XI 3.1 is our product
