Internal error -1101

Dear all,

I have a strange issue where the DB went into Suspect mode based on the Recommendations in the microsoft support i brought back to normal conditions where as when i key in any transactions it is throwing a internal error -1101.

can any one help me on this.

Dear Abuthahir,

This is most likely a db problem. You need to restore the latest backup whenever possible.

thanks for your reply,

i tried that after restoring the earlier back up only i am getting this error.

so i suspect the SQL i also tried repairing the SQL. but no luck.

do any of you have come across  such scenario's

HI Sriram,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

the scenario was the DB suddenly went into Suspect mode.

later i brought it to Emergency mode and repaired it. after bringing back it to normal mode

after me logging into SAP i am trying to add a AR Invoice. i am getting this internal error -1101

i also tried adding the item master data it gave me a different error of languages 0 is not valid.

so i restored the day before's back up before the DB into suspect mode where i am getting the same internal error.

The error seems a connection problem. Do you have a test server or other test machine? You can try to setup a test machine and restore the database there and check if there's still a problem. Does the other database got the same issue or only this database. You need to isolate every scenario to get a clue on this.

Could you check the DB consistence or not ? just run the  consistence check in the Database level if any errors are there ?
