Run SM59

then go to TCP/IP connections

Double click rfc EU_SCRP_WN32

on technical setting tab just check the value of Program

If it is ADAPTgnetx.exe then change it to gnetx.exe

Save RFC and check again.

Thanks.

Sachin,

Will you please tell me what you did here? I have the same problem with my screen painter - it only opens in Classical mode. Are you running the GUI on Linux?

thanks,

Kevin

Thanks every one for your replies

I check that

Menu -> Utilities -> Settings in Screen Painter TAB, check box is already checked.

But still the same problem I am facing.

Now where I have to install GUI screen painter should be on SERVER or My Desktop PC.

Thanks

Hi Sachin,

I guess you mean SE51 opens the Classic text view instead of the Graphical layout editor?

In SE51 check Utilities->Settings->Screen Painter

The checkbox in front of 'Graphical layout editor' should be checked.

If it is already checked: try Rich Heilman's post: The Graphical layout editor might be missing

Was this the answer to your question?

In SE51 first screen.

Menu -> Utilities -> Settings.

Maybe you don't have the gui screen painter installed on that pc. Get the gui installation disk, and add the extension.
