Hi All,
My client has FDs in some banks. They want to make accounting entries related to those FDs in SAP as they normally do in their old system.
My requirement is how to calculate interest on those FDs and make accounting entries of those in SAP FI. We did not use any FSCM module here.
Please guide. I have goggled before posting.
Regards
Soumya
Hi Soumya,
If FSCM is not used, then manual JV is one option. Approximately how many FDs, do you have?
If it is very few, you can post manually. If the number is high, you can create an excel upload program. All calculations can be done through formulas in excel/you can maintain a custom table for interest rates for the given criteria. Program can calculate interest and post the JV.
Thanks,
V V
