Dear Gurus,

When I am using Adhoc query with my infoset its not giving me the provision for selecting the field P0015-AEDTM as Picture 1. I checked the infoset in SQ02 and found AEDTM is there under additional payment but without field group as Picture 2. But what ever have field group 12 as Picturet 3 is displaying in Adhoc query for selection. Whenever I tried to add AEDTM to field group 12 as Picture 4 system not allowing me to do so as Picture 5.

Please guide me on this. I need AEDTM field in my Query results.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Rogi,

You need to select the Field Group in the right hand side as shown below.

As shown above select Personal Data( its highlighted in Yellow shade - That is called Field Grp) in your case it might be IT0015, once selected then select fields from left hand side Data Fields. Then you will be able to add the field from Data Fields to Field Grps. once done you can generate the infoset.

Hopefully this helps also your {rogam} as well . Samshayikkanda.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Rogi,

Please follow the below mentioned steps in the sequential order ,

1. Check the infoset whether the required infotype is there or otherwise add as shown in the picture 1.

2. After adding if the field is not there in the field group just drag and drop the required field from the data fields section to the field group section as shown in picture 2.

Hope this will solve your issue.

Actually the problem what you are facing right now is that you need to add a new field to the field group correct.

I have explained in the above screen shots how to add a new field to a field group(Picture 2) and also how to add a new infotype , field group to an infoset(Picture 1).

Step 1: Enter the T.code SQ02 and select the infoset and click on change button.

Step 2: Check for the field group whether its available or not in the right hand side (Picture 3) or else add the field group as i have shown in the Picture 2.

Step3 : Expand the field group and check for the fields if you want to add any more fields check in the data fields section for the infotype and drag and drop the required field to data group section as shown below,

After this save and generate the infoset.

Hi ,

Its a strange error. Can you please check whether  you have proper authorization for Infoset creation.....

If that also doesnt solve the issue....please try to create test Infoset in same client or sandbox and check whether you are having same issue. I am pretty sure you might have seen many blogs on query, still please check the below blogs for more detail info on Infoset creation.

If it still didn't solve your issue it can be an SAP error which you can be replicated and search the OSS notes Automatically using a new Transaction code ANST . For more info on that please check the blog

Hopefully this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks & Regards

Dear Jim,

I'd like to comment the usage of ANST for query or other abap code deneration utilities like transaction PU12. I those cases, the issue should be reproduced from the beggining. that is. running the query won't probably be enough, but you have also to create or generare the query a part of the steps to reproduce the issue.

Reason: If there is a correction note for the query functionality, the correction instructions will always be done in the generation part of the query and not in the query itself.

Regards,

Carlos.
