QUERY PROMPT SELECTOR to multiple queries

Does anyone knows if it is possible to add a Query Prompt Selector binding to 2 separete Universe Querys that have one prompt in common.

Query 1 (Sales context):

Year,  Sales ($)

Filter:

     Current Year, Prompt Enter Month=?

Query 2 (Forecast context):
Year, Forecast ($), Line

Filter:

Current Year, Prompt Enter Month=? and Prompt Enter Line=?

Component added to Dashboard canvas:

Query Prompt Selector:
Enter Month?

The QUERY 1 AND QUERY2 are selected in the Destination queries but I'm facing an error when I publish this dashboard to the Platform.

Do I need to do something else in the Universe? The error said that it can not create an instance.

Or do you know  another way to solve this without using the Query Prompt Selector?

Please someone help me!

Hi Yessica,

The procedure you have followed is correct. I have attached the screenshots for 2 Query Prompt Selectors (1st for Year and 2nd for Month prompts), select only the first query for source, both queries for destination as well as refresh.

Keep a Query Refresh Button for refreshing the queries, select all the queries in that properties.

3rd screenshot is my output in the BI Launch pad without any error even when I select different values and refresh.

Keep posting if you are face any error still.

Hi Yessica,

It is possible to bind single Query Prompt Selector component to two different queries, if the queries have a common filter object.

What is the exact error message that you get? Could you attach a screenshot of the error?
