Rescheduling of Background JObs

Hi,

We are moving Production system to new hardware.

We have set Backgound process=0 and started SAP system on new hardware.

We have suspended jobs by report BTCTRNS1 and changed Backgound process=6.

Now we want to release jobs by report  BTCTRNS2.

Now questions is

Before we release jobs by report  BTCTRNS2. what care should we take?

Any thing we should confirm from customer because customer might have some jobs which they might want to reschedule?

so should we just go ahead and release backgound jobs?

First option is good, confirm with customer for all the non-standard jobs.

There is no care to be taken to execute BTCTRNS2. You can run the report and reschedule the suspended jobs.

Regarding the customer confirmation, that is something you should decide internally in your organisation. As long as they are aware and informed about the actions taken from your side then there should be no problem.
