Cost Center field status

Hello,

I want to make Business Area mandetory in Cost center master data creation. How to do this?

Cost Center fields are not controlled by the field status group / screen layout.

It depends upon the configuration in your client, say - if you enable Business Area wise balance sheet enable in the TCODE: OBY6, then system asks for required entry in the cost center.

Hi Mack bhau

Remember that in every master data - CC, WBS, IO or Asset master - Busn Area will become mandatory... And Once you activate it, deactivation is a nightmare

So, be careful!
