package does not exist or you do not have authority on this package

Hi Guys

I am trying to add a package to a BPF(SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP6). When I run the BPF thru the Web, it says "package does not exist or you do not have authority on this package".

Upload package and import package working fine. I have checked Package: File name and Group. They are fine. I have recreated the package with different name and added to brand new BPF. Still its giving the same Message “it says package does not exist or you do not have authority on this package.

Tried to truble shoot by doing the below steps.

1. I have checked the security, security looks fine.

2. Processed the Dimensions and Cube and Lite Optmized the Application.

3. Created a new package and created new BPF, attached package to brand new BPF.

The result is the same. Is there any other palce to look at??.

RUN SPECIFIC PACKAGE

PACKAGE : INTERCO ( PACKAGE NAME )
FILE : /CPMB/FX_RESTATMENT (PROCESS CHAIN NAME)

GROUP: DATA MANAGEMENT

Guys if you have any idea please let me know.

Thanks

Regards

    Hello Narsi,

Could you please first check SAP Note

1690261 - BPC MS "The package does not exist or you do not have authority on this package"

If this does not help, please install Patch 3 of BPC 7.5 SP6.

For more details, please refer to SAP Note:

1656756 - BPC: Error: The package does not exist or you do not have
    authority on this package

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks & best regards,

    Nedra.
