How do I send a secure email through the webi scheduler?

I tried to put #secure in the subject line and it would not send that way.  Is there a way to send a secure email in outlook through the scheduler?

I can't upload picture for some reason so I'll try to explain what's going on. I tried to put - #secure# %SI_NAME% like you did and all that comes through is the # and the file name.  I have tried multiple things and it still won't come through.  I'll keep trying to upload a screenshot of my subject line and the email output.

Thank you!!!

Check with your SMTP mail team  that the mailbox  which is configured with BO ( Asuming that It might be a different team)does It  allow such names In the subject Line Which will start with #and End with #.

Or try a different keyword Other then secure or truy to use different character  then # to narrow down .

Can I ask what #secure# does?  I had a quick search on Google but can't see anything relevant.

Many thanks

#secure in outlook sends the email message secure.

Thanks Scot for that.

I hadn't heard of that before, I wonder is it your eMail client /server that does the encryption and if so, I suspect that Webi won't be able to handle that.

Time will tell

Hi Durgamadhab,

this worked for me.  It only shows secure if I send outside the company.  If I send to myself it won't show as secure.  I tested it to an outrside email and it worked.

Thanks,

Scot
