SR13 - Online help only works partly

Hi community,

With the last upgrade of our SCM system we switched from local installed help documentation to the Online SAP Help Portal. Customizing in SR13:

This works fine for "old" transactions like SU01 or SM50. But all tested SCM transactions and the menue Help --> Glossary

start an empty help like this:

SAP has a really long Glossary under SAP Library- Glossary but this red signed URL part doesn't fit together. Is this an incident at SAP or can I do a better customizing?

Best regards,

Steffen

Hello,

Check this note if it can help.

1776698 - Glossary opens with wrong address

I've got the same issue, but no one complained yet...

According to this very old note that behavior could be normal...

103386 - Display glossary in 4.0A with HTML-Help

Due to missing access data with the help type HtmlHelpFile the direct search for glossary terms is not possible.

Every other help display (for example extended help) leads to an HTML-Help window on which a pushbutton with the description "Home" leads to to the first page of the online help. From there you can branch to the glossary.

There the glossary term can be entered under the tab page "Index". When you double-click on one of the displayed terms, the required documentation of the glossary term is displayed.

In releases later than 4.0A, this is the standard means of navigation for displaying glossary terms (the direct search for glossary terms from R/3 is generally no longer supported).

It seems that using SAP Help web site is not supported anymore...

Funny because most (for not saying all) of the customers I know did use it...

1627255 - Installation Help for the SAP Library (2011)

The SAP Help Portal is configured directly in SR13 - This is not supported, see SAP note 874583

874583 - Connecting the help to the SAP Help Portal (2005)

The SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com serves exclusively as an external source of information.

SAP does not offer support for and actively discourages you from directly connecting the information that is available there to the system.

Please update the thread if you find the solution
