Activating extractors in erp system for D.S 4.0

Hi All,

We are running on sap ERP 6.0 ehp6 on windows.

Team is trying to extract data USING DS 4.0

However they want us to activate extractors in sap.

kindly Advice  on how to activate the extractor in ERP for DS.

Hi,

please check and perform below steps.

1. Standard data sources are activated from source system(ECC) Tx - RSA5.

2. Select your data source and click on activate data source icon from tool bar.

3. Later you can do maintenance as you need selection or hide at Tx - RSA6.

4. Check your extractor whether its working or not by using tx - RSA3

5. Once above above 4 steps success, then replicate data source into bw side, activate. it

6. Design further data flow, like creating target,transformations,info pack and dtp.

Advice  on how to activate the extractor in ERP for DS.

This is not really precise on what you plan to activate. But datasources are activated through tx rsa5 in ECC.

Dear Jawwad,

Use T Code - RSA5 to activate datasource at ECC side. Once you activate datasource, you will able to find activated datasource in RSA6.

Then replicate same datasource to BW side.
