WBS status not changed after release

Hi Experts

We have a issue with WBS element system status.

We have created WBS, initially its status was CRTD,

Then we released this WBS, now CRTD status should become inactive & REL should be active.

But here in this WBS element both status (CRTD & REL) are active due to this we are unable to create GRN.

as in created status GRN related buisness processes are not allowed.

Can anybody help us to run some reports that will refresh the System status data of WBS ?

    Hello Chandu,

    Please check and change the user status first!!


    In CJ20N select Project Definition then from the Menu Edit >> Status >> User Status >> Set & Passon......set the REL status and check ..

    Hi Chandu,

    CRTD status will be Inactive, when you change the status to REL. you can see the time of CRTD status and REL status in the provided screen snap. there was clear variation in time in active status of CRTD and active status of REL.

    I think there is no issue with system status, are you using user status? can you attach basic data screen of wbs element with system/user status.

    Hi Chandu,

    If you want to decide when certain business transactions are permissible, define user statuses. These enhance existing system statuses.

    And define status numbers for every user status.However only one user status with a status number can be active at one time in a work breakdown structure.

    Hi,

    I am sure it is User Status 'CRTD' for that caused the GRN to not to get processed. Please check and change it accordingly.

    OR

    If you think there is some system inconsistency then you may run program 'CNSTATUS' in SE38 for the project.

    Hi Chandu,

    Yes, it is an user status which is not allowing you to post GRN.

    Please click i (Icon adjacent to WBS) and look for user status and do the changes accordingly.

    OR

    go to OPSA, look for "WBS sts. prof" under status management and find out the attached user status. Then, go to OK02 and find out your user status and do the changes there as per your requirement.
