Fax Configuration

In transaction Qm02, SAP has given a way to send the Defects to the Customer through FAX.

Problem: Where do i configure the FAX details????

Hi,

You will also need to set a fax number in the customer master.

You should be able to see the FAX message in SOST as well if the configuration is correct.

Is the output message in the document red/yellow or green ?

Guys,

I have made medium as 2.

As well, i have added the Fax number with ISD Code(0044 and the number) for a Customer in the Cusotmer Master.

I am unable to see in the SOST.

Is there a place where i have to make any more changes ???? Becoz i am unable to FAX !!!1

hi,

did you check the fax machine is configured in the SAP that is how we configure like printer.

How do i check whether a FAX m/c is already configured???

If no config exist, How do i configure it???

hi,

check in SU01 - > User Name - > Defaults - > Output Device

or in the menu

System - > User Profile - > Own Data

(i'm not sure but check with this)

you have to set transaction medium as 2 for the corresponding output type
