CO PA Data from CE1XXXX Table

Hi,

We have a CO PA data source and my understanding is when generated CO PA data source will extract Data from 4 tables (CE1XXXX, CE2XXXX, CE3XXXX & CE4XXXX),So my CO PA will hold data from all the tables.

My requirement is to show data from CE1XXXX table,Is there any field on which I can restrict so that it will take data only from CE1XXXX at report level.

Thanks

Hi,

CE1 is actuals data, CE2 is Plan data, CE3 and CE4 will hold aggregated and segment level information. So build your COPA datasource and at the report level show only actuals data. This should solve your requirement.

Hi Martin,

As i guess for copa data source we may have a field PLIKZ(think so) - Value type which can indicates its actual or plan indicator.

if you have at data source and info cube level, then you can use valtyp - Actual at bex filter area and see the data.  you may see only actual data from info cube.

Thanks

Is the COPA cube already there in the system? If so use Value type infoobject (Usually 10 = actual and 20 = plan). Check with your COPA consultant before placing any restriction.

Hi Martin,

As i know, most of the time we get fields form CE1XXXX one table only.

I think as of now you have copa data source. am i right. if yes then compare your data source fields with table CE1XXXX. then it will know whether it have same fields along with CE1XXXX or not.

Another work around.

Find the fields which are form CE2XXX,CE3XXX and CE4XXXX and exclude or hide them those columns at your bex level.

Thanks
