Hi Bhupendra

When you get this message, can you try pressing CTRL + SHIFT + I and look for a number which should appear in the lower right corner of the message.  This should give you the specific error code as to why you have received this error.  Do a search on this...

Are you getting this problem with all your reports or just this one ?

If all of them, it sounds like your restore could have been corrupt.  Do you have an older version of a backup or the reports saved anywhere else ?

You could possibly try downloading the reports via transaction UJFS then opening them and re-saving down into your BPC server folders making sure you select the correct file extension.

Hope this helps.

Ian

Hi

As already mentioned, check to make sure the backup is not impacted by any of the items in the following SAP note: 1634920.

Does your backup run for a reasonable amount of time compared to other, successful backups when looking in SM37 ?

Are you trying to restore to the same environment from where the backup was taken ?  If not, it is a requirement that the model / dimension structures are the same.

Finally, try the restore in the foreground which should give you some more details about the error you are facing.  Post that here...

Good luck

Ian

Hi,

I had similar problem recently.

Did you take back up with Background option? If not, try to re take backup in background.

Hope it helps,
