processing sto, stock transfer order cannot set delivery completed indicator

Dear all,

I have one issue with stock transfer order processing and would like to share the following with you:

We are using stock transfer orders to replenish our own stores. stock transfer order is processed into delivery and is picked. At post goods issue an inbound delivery is created.

A background job is posting the goods receipt of the inbound delivery.

Sometimes the error log of this gr posting mentions that delivery completed indicator cannot be set.

When processing this in foreground with vl06i we do not have an error.

What could be the cause that the delivery completed Indicator cannot always be set?

Hi Nick,

Setting the "delivery completed" indicator in stock transfer  items can be done if

   1) the sum of the goods issue quantities in the supplying plant equal  the sum of the goods receipt    quantities in the receiving plant.

   2)  the sum of the delivery note quantities is equal to the sum of the goods receipt quantities

when you processing this in foreground, are you changing any Qty ?

Check for any bug in the program.
