Client Copy

Hi there,

I have created a new client 070 in our ECC Dev system via SCC4

I changed the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 and restarted

the instance.

I then tried to log into the new client 070 using sap* but 'user/pass invalid'

Any ideas?

Setting the parameter value to 0 is not enough.

You need to rename/delete the SAP* user from the DB level to login with the password pass.

Correction:

If this is a new client then password pass should work.

Check whether the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is present twice.

Many thanks for all your help guys.

I must have activated the profile without saving first! doh!!!!

Just saved, activated and restarted the instance.

Now able to get into new client 070 and start the client copy yippee
