Error in HRA Exemption

Dear All,

Good Evening..!

When i am updating  new entry for HRA EXEMPTION  (IT- 0581)  for Rent Rs. 14000( Earlier it was 12500/-), following error showing.

Eligibility amount for HRA/CLA/COA is zero for employee 587 on 01.04.2013 and the employee is not getting correct HRA exemption. Employee is getting exemption based on his previous declaration.

Kindly suggest..

When you are going to maintain HRA exemption in info type 0581 then click to below widow please

HRA to be Tax Exempt.

Hi,

As other mentors suggested Delimit your record by copying and creating with required date.

And run payroll check with function INHRA.

Hi,

Please check whether HRA wage type is part of its wage type model.

How to check?

1. Go to table V_T7INA3 put PSG PS level and find allowance group linked to that PSG-Lvl
2. Then check in V_T7INA5 wage type model linked to that allowance group.
3. Then go to V_T539A and check table wage types linked to that model

Hi

Instead of creating new entry try to change Existing record (or) Delimi existung record up to 30.03.2013 then create new record from 01.04.2013

Dear,

do the following steps

1. pa30

2. employee number xxx

3. select info type 581

4 click on copy button

5.change the start date and put the date i.e. 01.04.2013

6 change the rent amount and save the record
