Archiving Log Details - MM_EKKO

Hello,

Executing archiving object MM_EKKO, in the pre-processing phase there is 1200 pages of errors, because for one reason or another the PO is not complete enough to archive (this is fine).

The limitation of the Log - Details view is that it only displays the Object (PO number and line item), but you cannot include other details like company code, purchasing org, plant etc. As the job is executed for all company codes, this information is needed so the PO's that need to be fixed can be routed to the correct market.

Does anyone know of any enhancement that can be made to the logs in SARA to include additional data beyond object (PO number and line item).

Thanks,

J

I don't know such an enhancement, but I actually think the most suitable solution would be to segregate your archiving job by organisation. This is as well beneficial if you search for certain documents later, then you can easily select the archive (of course you have to give some descriptive text) to search in, instead of searching through all archive files.

    Hi Jacob,

    I agree with Jurgen here.

Please divide the jobs with logical segregation. For e.g. on one/ group of company codes, specific periods etc.

One, that will help you identify the errors and second, you can correct it with respective data easily.

    Hope this helps!!

    Hi All,

Agree this is probably the only option, just one of those oddities that this requirement has never been needed before. Splitting the PO's by plant/purchasing group etc would be a lot quicker to get the initial archive errors fixed.

    Anyway, appreciate the comments.

    Cheers.
