some doubts on SAP(PMS)?

Hi Team,

I am new to PMS, my client planning to implement pms, regarding I have some doubts in PMS, please help me

1. for example 1500 employees only 1000 employee only
   appraisal eligible for this appraisal period how and where can we restrict
   these list of employees?
2. In PMS project BASIS guy any help required?
3. What activates of ABAP persons in PMS project?
4. What is functional person working PMS project?
5. What is the difference between Flexible & Predefine
   appraisal templates? which one is suggestible?

    Ans:-We can  restrict Role level wise and Employee level wise Check T-code  PHAP_PREPARE

     2.     In PMS project BASIS guy any help required?

     Ans:- Normally Basis person will give Authorization For R/3 side, Portal side and if any notes required basis consultant will help you  Check T-code  SU3

     3.What activates of ABAP persons in PMS project?

        Ans- Normally workflow consultant will help you for WF modification also ENHANCEMENTS

       Check T-code  PFTC

     4.What is functional person working PMS project?

       Ans -Complete PMS R/3 Configuration

   Ex:-Tcodes for PMS Basic Setting

1. OOHAP_BASIC      Basic Appraisal Template Settings
2. OOHAP_CATEGORY      Appraisal Category Settings
3. OOHAP_CAT_GROUP Category Group Settings

Ans:- Standard and Customized ,its depends on Client requirement

Hi,

1) some roles are required in portal level as well as r3 level for all the employees and managers.

in portal level EP consultants will define the roles in r3 level Basis consultants will define the roles for inidival employee.

2)hrp1000 and hrp1001 these are all the tables maintaining the relations between employee, managerL1 & manager L2 here also you can restrict the employees.noe need to maintain the relations for those employess
