Cube is not appearing in Data target tab of Infopackage

Hi,

I am updating data from a flat file.

I created Infosource and Data target and Update rules also.

After Infopackage creation when I go to Data target Tab

My cube (data target) is not appearing.I deleted my Infosource and 0nce again I created then also I couldnot see my Data target in Infopackage.

Can any one hlep to resovle.

Hi Pradeep,

Did you create the update rules of the cube. If yes, were the update rules created based on the Infosource. Once that is done the cube will appear in the Data target tab.

check whether the update rules is defined for the respective infosource. if yes u shd be able to view ur data target.

Hi Pradeep,

maybe it is a transactional InfoCube and then you need to switch it to loading mode instead of planning mode. Afterwards it will appear in the IP.

Hi,

If u created update rules on that infosource and those r active it must be present in the data raget..

There is chance the cube may be transactional one and settings made as planning with out laoding..

Check once the which type of cube that is ....

Hi Pradeep

I faced the same scenario once..Just delete the infopackage.Activate the update rule and Recreate the infopackage. It may work.
