Wrong Absence Quota Generated for Holiday Comp.Off, how it can be rectified

Dear Friends,

One of my client have problem of wrong absence quota problem kindly give your suggestions.

1) As per Leave Quota rules if an employee works on a Public holiday he is to be credited Comp.off under quota type 05 (Compensatory off (PH)). But it   observed that for several employees who have worked on 02/10/2013 and

13/10/2013 the Comp off is credited under quota type 04 (Compensatory Off (Normal))sample employee screen shot attached.

2) Employees who have worked overtime on that day and who have been paid OT amounts have been credited C.Offs which they are not eligible for.

3) Also an employee whose Weekly Off falls on a holiday is eligible for a Comp.Off even if he does not work on that day. But no Comp.Off is found credited for these employees on the above dates.

Please help in finding out why this has occurred and how it can be rectified.

Hi,

1) As i understood, i think instead of Compensatory off (PH) you might have booked attendance type Compensatory Off (Normal) kindly check once again if it is't let me know.


2) Normally Com off and OT both scenarios are different, For OT SAP standard system will support through TO01,TO02 (PCR's) please refer both pcr's.


3) It will't com under com.off scenario it will come under absence quota scenario because com off is nothing but if employee will work on week off he/she can eligible for any week day off that is also you should maintain attendance type other wise how system will come to know whether he/she came or not?

Hi Mohan,

Thanks for quick reply, for 1st answer there is no change in the settings "Comp.off under quota type 05 (Compensatory off (PH)", and also last month or last time when he worked for the holiday it was right only for last tow public holidays scenario it is picking wrong quota type.

am not able to find where it went wrong it is not for one employee for all the employees this is the same problem they are facing. kindly suggest

Can you check once again below tables

1. Deduction Rules for Absence Quotas V_556R_B.

2. Assign Deduction Rules to Counting Rules T556C.

3. Assign Counting Rules to Absence Types V_554S_Q

.

Because quota logic will come from here if still having same error kindly let me know.

Dear Mohan,

As I understand this is problem for only 3 costumer specific holidays, which are coming under holiday class 9

1) 11.03.2013-Sivaratri- Holiday class- 9

2) 02.10.2013- Gandhi jayanthi- Holiday class- 9

3) 13.10.2013- Mahanavami-Holiday class- 9

The PCR written for Comp.Off eligibility for holiday class-9 is different from other public holidays, "According to PCR (ZQCM-Generation of Compensatory OFF Quota)".

How to read the logic in PCR (ZQCM) holiday class 9, kindly suggest

Hi Naresh,

Normally comp off hours will be stored in particular quota through TR11 PCR kindly check this PCR and can provide screen short.

And i think for this one scenarios no need to write pcr

1. As usual do it config steps for comp off.

2. Create one attendance type maintain name like a PH Attendance type

3. Create one absence type maintain name like a PH absence type

4. Create one time type

In this table V_T559E maintain time type like below mentioned screen shorts



Nest maintain PCR TR11 that,s all


Who is working on PH ask them to use this Atten and Abs
