Separate Requests Generated in UAR Review GRC 10

Hi Experts,

The "Generates data for access request UAR review" job is generating requests per user.

For example : If I run the job for a user group which contains 4 users, there are 4 requests generated. One request per user.

This situation is in our development system. If the same happens in our production, we will have thousands of requests generated and the Reviewers inbox will be flooded.

Is there a way we can get, either 1 or 2 requests generated. Or is there a way we have one request generated consolidating all the users into one request.

Please advise!

Regards,

Jaravuy

    Hello Jaravuy

As you mentioned in the post, you got more number of requests when you run the same user group in PRD system, because those users may have more risks when compared to DEV. and you may not run the BATCH RISK ANALYSIS Job in R/3 DEV with GRC PRD to get synched.

in-order to avoid more number of requests, you can put the users in different user groups & run for those users groups. since the background job will check the risk for every combination of risks and so it will create more requests.

you can check this below UAR configuration link.

    Hi Jaravuy,

you have two options for the generated requests. Either create requests per user, either create requests per role. I did implement the UAR process once and we chose one request per user.

But you can create requests also per role.

If you define for example 20 critical roles which need approval every 6 months, then you will get 20 requests for all user.

You just need to adjust the job over the report GRAC_UAR_REQUEST_GEN and group by role instead of user.
