Delete Permit Assignment

Hi experts,

My client wants to use permits in Maintenance orders. There are few points given under

• Permit should not be assigned through classification.
• Permits can be assigned by any person ( group).
• But permit can not be deleted by all persons or even person who have assigned the same.
• Only certain group or persons can delete the permit assignment.

* we are not using classification and nor even object based permit assignment. Permits should be assigned manually only.

Hi

You can create permit via IPMD with or without classification.

Then you can assign the permit manually in the order with a permit key (field PMSOG).  In your case you can use authorization object I_SOGEN to control issue of permits

Regarding control on deletion of permit try to use user exit IWO10007.

Hi Rao,

I just want to know that is it possible that any person can assign the permit (manually ) but after once he assign the permit to the maintenance order than he will not be authorized to delete the same.
