Landing Page After Login

Hi,

Users access the portal using the url https://server/irj/portal and they land on the first role that is there.

I want the users to land on the 3rd role instead. Can I add parameters to the url so that after they login, the role that is displayed is the 3rd role.

I require flexibility. So, I want to be able to give different users different urls so each person will land on a different page after they login.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

    Hi Fong

Do you want to keep the sequence of the roles to be kept constant but have different URLS that launches different roles on login?

If this is the case then you can create URLS in the following format.

    http://portalserver:port/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=Roles://String

The String is PCD location obtained from Quick info pane after chopping of PCD.

Have you tried setting the "priority" on the object (role or workset) to get the effect you desire? That will change which is "open" first.

    Hi Fong

You can define the sort sequence for your roles. But note that if you are going to assign the same roles to all your users, then all of them will view the same sequence.

For details on sorting, please refer to this link.
