Need help with FTO creations

Hello guys, I am trying to create a new foreign trade organization in GTS but met following issue, would you please help me?

I went to Spro - Global Trade Services - General Settings - Organizational Structure - Define Foreign Trade Organization

Then I create the FTO with company name in SLLFTO BP role which is: FTO_123.

When I filled out everything and hit save, it pop out the error message says:

Grouping Internal number assignment has internal number assignment, do not enter a number.   Message no. R1092

I checked that we have created lots of FTO named after numbers, and we do have this company code exist in develop environment.

I'm not sure what should I do to resolve this, can you please provide some insights?

Hello Annie,

While creation of the FTO you must have selected the Grouping with Internal Number assignment and as you told you are creating the FTO namely FTO_123.

Please change the grouping from Internal Number assignment to External which will solve your issue.

You will find the field Grouping on the right side of Business partner key.
