Hello,
we are loading data via Processchain form our ECC6.0-Sourcesystem to SAP BW.
The Soursystem contains three applicationservers.
Applicationserver2 is because of the number of batch-processes the favorite for the dataload.
Now my question...
how can i achieve that the dataload from BW always starts the extractionjobs on applicationserver2?
Any ideas are welcome...
Thanks and Regards,
Oliver
Hi oliver,
With help of basis team you need to assign proper application server to load data thru process chains.
Thanks

Thanks a lot for your Input...
The basis-team made same changes in the rfc-connection.
Now it works.

Hi Oliver,
This is very much achievable without the help of BASIS...
While scheduling the PC --> It will prompt a screen where you have 3 options
1) Host
2) DSO
3) server
Select 3rd option Server and select your application server "applicationserver2".
Click OK -->select job priority --done now the pc will be scheduled on applicationserver2
By default host 1st option is selected.
Hope this info helps you.
You can check if the PC is scheduled and running on applicationserver2 or not in SM66 job overview.

KP

Hi
Change the load balancing in your rfc connection in sm59. Probably best done by basis team.
hope that helps
