Passing prompt parameters from dashboard designer to query browser prompt

Could anyone please help me on below query ?.

Sub: Passing prompt parameters from dashboard designer to query
browser prompt without using query prompt selector component.

We need to pass dashboard combo box selection values to
query browser prompt to get required results

We can achieve this by using query prompt selector component but query
prompt selector is not mobile compatible

We need mobile compatible dashboards; Could anyone please
help us know how to pass parameters from dashboard to query browser prompt;

We are using dashboard designer 4.0 sp6

Thanks in advance;

    Hi Swapna,

    You can do this by populating the results in the excel coulmn of all the values which you want your combo box to populate with.(For this plz create a query which will bring the values for that object and map that to the excel)

    Then once you select something from the combo box,in its properties the destination cell shouldbe mapped to the selected values for the prompt in the query browser.

    Hope this will solve the purpose.

    Regards,

    Amit

    Hi Amit,

    Thank you very much for your help Amit,

    I tried same way as you suggested, but it was not working , I have tried
    many other options also it is not working finally small thing , i missed while
    doing this

    Change the usage options:

    Trigger cell->mapped to combo box destination

    Select radio button when value changes

    Now it’s working fine .

    Thanks & Regards,

    Swapna.
