DSO activation failed

Hi,

DSO activation is getting failed with error message as below:

Even there is no error records then also the activation got failed and also we have tried to repair in RSRV .

If we manually run the DTP to DSO and activation then its working fine.

Daily the PC is getting failed at DSO activation step and if we delete request from DSO and reloading the DTP then activation gets successfully completes

Could you please help us to make it permanent fix.

Many Thanks.

    Hi Pavan,

Is your activation step is proceeding after DTP got successful. As per your explanation, second time it is successful.

Check your flow and options; whether any other dependent load is happening towards your DSO, make sure your activation step should be after the loads.

    Hope helps you - Kumar

    Hi Pavan,

Possible that the same DSO got loaded at that moment by some other process chain and hence the activation job got cancelled.

Also check whether master data has been successfully loaded at that time.

    Please check.

Also share some more details for further analysis.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,

    Hi Pavan,

Are you activating manually immediately after the process chain fails ?

Please provide the screen shot of job log details.

Next time before the process chain starts try decreasing the number of parallel processes.

    Regards,

    Sneha

    Hi Pavan,

Can you please check the following notes...

1392715 DSO req. activation:collective perf. problem note

1118205 RSODSO_SETTINGS Maintain runtime parameter of DataS

Make sure that there are enough background processes assigned for the activation of the DSO in the transaction RSODSO_SETTINGS, please follow the recommendations from the note 1118205 to this end. This would explain why the manual repeat works if there are not enough work processes assigned.

If the issue happens again please paste the 'error description' and 'error code' again and we can make other recommendations,

    hope this helps,

    Colm

    Hi Pavan,

Can you check the DSO activation logs in SM37 when the process chain has completed/got failed at the DSO activation step. I think it might be getting cancelled here due to some reason.

You need to have a look at the job log to decide further actions to correct this issue.

    Best Regards,

    Arpit
