Populating wrong values for 0FISCPER selections(F4 values) in CO-PA report

Hi,

   We are facing a problem with population of values using F4 help for the Info object 0FISCPER in CO-PA report.

when the selection is 011.2013, it is giving description as August-2013 and the Fiscal year variant is K4.

The actual problem is, this help should get the values for fiscal year variant K4,but it is picking values from other fiscal year variant which is V9.

This is happeing only sometimes but not all the times. But he peiod description it is showing is matching with the V9 periods.

But there are no values maintianed for K4 in T009B tables. Even though it is not maintaining the values are picking for K4.

and this problem is happening with only one report, not with all the reports.

We are using BI 7.3 version and patch level is 0008. we upgraded the system from BI 7.0 to BI 7.3 one year back.

But this is the first time we are facing this issue.

I tried with deleting unused dimension ids in cube level. But the probolem not solved.

Please help me on this.

Hi,

We have the same problem, i have tried to put fiscal year variant into selection screen together with fiscal period. when you input K4 as fiscal variant then the fiscal period displayed correctly, if not then using fiscal period V9 as default. so we put the fiscal variant as a filter, and put K4 as default value in case user need other fiscal variant.

  0FISCVARNT is maintained as compounding attribute. We tried with all the solutions which we found in SCN and Google. But now use. When we do selections using F4, in the description it is giving wrong text but the output of the report showing correct description. Please let me know if any other solutions are there for this problem.

Hi Rajani,

The selections using F4 means the values are taking from Master data. Can you check once in the master data. Might be the problem of the master data.

Do you maintain 0fiscvarnt as compounding to 0fiscper. If not, maintain 0fiscvarnt as compounding to 0fiscper in the Info object definition.

Please follow Anshu Lihori Post. You restrict the K4 values in the filter for Fiscal year variant.

  Thanks for the replies. I did the same thing in the filter restrictons.

But i am getting same problem. When I select 011.2013, it is showing as August-2013 instead of November - 2013. But the output of the report showing November - 2013. We are having problem with the descriptons of the months when selecting with F4.

It is better to restrict Fiscal year variant at filter level with desired one.

Hi Rajani Sankar,

We also faced the same problem. In the output of the report the text descritions shows -3 periods back. So, it is the problem with the K4 Variants.

You should restrict the Fiscal Year Variant with K4 in the Static restrictions. Then the text descriptions comes properly.

   Thanks for quick reply. I tried with the option what you explained. But it is not working.

Can you please elaborate me the option to make static restrictions on K4 fiscal year variant.

So that i can cofirm that the option I used is same as what you said.

Hi,

Go to filter tab--Characteristic restriction--drag and drop fiscal year variant--Right click--Restrict--Single value--K4

Check if this works or not.
