RSA1 issue while creating datasource under sap folder

Hi Team,

In our BI system, Am going to create a new data source in RSA1 tcode in source systems under sap folder but it is not allowing me to create and giving the below error. Kindly look into this and revert me with appropriate steps to resolve the issue.

Btw, I have created the RFC connection b/w source system and target system.

Please enter a valid value for receiver type

Message no E0426

Entry with Key /BISYSCNLTXX/LS is to be inserted in the table EDPP1

The value /'USER'/'US' is not valid for a receiver of notifications.

Enter a valid value. Use the possible entries push button to display the values allowed.

    Assuming your on bw 7.x version.

    Actually what type data source you planned to create. if you want create flat file related data source, first you need to have flat file source system at RSA1--> source system.

    You can create data source at RSA1-- >data source under related app component.

    Dear Pavan,

    Can you confirm once again that, where you are creating datasource - is it in BI system or ECC side.

    If you are using Transaction RSA1 at BI side it means that you are creating datasource through Flat File.

    First check Flat file source connection , under source system tab at RSA1.

    By reading your thread , I guess that you are triggering transaction RSA1 in ECC side. Confirm on this.

    If you want to create Datasource in ECC side use T code - RSO2 and use method Table/View/FM/Infoset query.
