Iview parameter passign

Hi,

I am very new to Iview development. I am creating a URL iview for my application. My application requires a username and password to login. I want to use one username and password for both the Iview and the application.

Any hints on how I can achieve that?

Regards,

Mark

    Hi Mark,

you can add parameters (GET or POST) in editor of your URL iView instance.

    Kind regards

    Hi Mark

"<b>I want to use one username and password for both the Iview and the application.</b>"

Do you mean that you want to use a single username and password for your application and the Portal? That can be achieved by User Mapping.

In order to achieve this, login to your Portal. Click on the Personalize link. In the window that opens, choose User Mapping. In the System drop down-down list, choose an appropriate system already defined in the portal. Give the User name and Password of your application and save the settings. The next time you login to the portal, you will be able to access your application without having to login again.

    Hi Mark

I created a URL iView and tried to achieve SSO. But seems like it is not that easy. I am not able to view my application without a second login.

But if you are not keen on using the URL iView and are only looking at enabling SSO to a web application, try the Application Integrator. Its far more simpler than trying to use the URL iView.

You will get the template and document from this link.

    Hope that helped
