SAP Installation Error

Former Member

hi experts,

I am trying to install SAP Netweaver 7.31 system. During installtion i got erros as follows...

And when i see log at the location /~/STD/ABAP then below is the log details..

/oracle/<SID>/112_64/bin/lsnrctl: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

I found SAP note no 819829 where mentioned that if u got above mentioned error then check environment varible "LD_LIBRARY_PATH".

I checked that variable, and its fine.

Please comment and suggest solution for this....

Regards,

Suhas.

Suhas,

Check on the database host if /oracle/<SID>/112_64 exist.

sometimes in (7.31) the installer looks for /oracle/<SID>/11203

Try creating a link /oracle/<SID>/11203 -> /oracle/<SID>/112_64  or otherway (not remember from top of my head)       /oracle/<SID>/112_64 -> /oracle/<SID>/11203

and continue the installer. Hope that should work (sometime we overlook obvious things)

Hi Suas,

Is it a central installation ?  There is something wrong with variables Oracle.

Please do a double check in <sidadm>  and <orasid> variables.

Additionaly you should to restart listener servisse, maybe, in this point you can find more details.

hi all,

Thanks for the reply..

Yes, that file is present at the OS level.

i checked denvironment varible for user <orasid> and <sidadm> and its fine. Also checked the ora file permission but nothing found wrong.

I tried one more case, that is i deleted the LISTENER and created new one. And after that Lintener restarted. But again got same error.

I have one doubt, just want to clear.Earlier on same VM,ECC was installed with <SID> as <abc> after that we installed CRM system  and after un-installing CRM, we are installing Netweaver 7.31 with newly created mount point with <SID> as <abc> (which name is same as we used for ECC ). Is that creating problem while installing with same <SID> as previous one??

Is this making problem.??Should i go with new <SID> and mount point.

Please suggest....

Regards,

Suhas.

Hello

There should be installation logs present under /tmp/sapinst_instdir/<SUB_DIR>

I would be easy to guide you if you could provide them instead of the screen shot.

Hello Suhas,

Can you check the file permissions of those ora files.

Check the below link as it talks about the same issue.
