IPC - SPC.bat behaves differently when connected locally / remotely

Hi,

Strange enough. I'm working on MSA. MSA uses its own local IPC, but without running server & dispatcher as CRM Online. I wanted to debug IPC, so explored running server & dispatcher on my local IPC.

I can start SPC.bat & connect locally even if IPC server is down. I tried creating an order, added a couple of items & pricing happened fine, no issues.

Now I started SPC.bat, tried to connect remotely to my localhost IPC and it failed. Good. Since no IPC server was running.

Now I started IPC server. Started SPC.bat, connected remotely to the running IPC server. Fine. I created a session. Fine. Created a sales document (with same sales area). Fine. Tried to add the same product. Failed. I get a text in status bar : "Sales Organisation,Distribution Channel."

I don't know what that means. Document properties are exactly the same as I had used while I connected to IPC locally. Still I get different result.

Untill unless I enter a product in a sales document, pricing won't get executed & I won't be able to debug it either.

Any idea what might be wrong here?

Regards,

Kaushal
