What is the data source for GL Financial statement

Hi Experts,

We want to implement Financial statement in our current implementation.

In our earlier project we used 0FI_GL_10 and the corresponding flow for achieving the required result.

Please let me know if we can use the same data source 0fi_gl_10 or are there any more data sources released from SAP to achieve this requirement ?

Hi Nishu,

Financial statements is general word. you better to come with exact requirement then only its easy for us to suggest. mean while why can'y check with your functional(FI/BW) people and understand what is exact requirement.

FI - have lot sub modules like AR/AP/GL/SL. so please recheck your requirement and revert back with us.

Here is the new data source for GL

0FI_GL_14 : General Ledger Accounting (New): Line Items of the Leading Ledger

DSO: 0FIGL_O14

IC:  You can create of your own as there is no SAP provided IC.

Search in help.sap. for more info.

0FI_GL_10 (DS)  ---- 0FIGL_O10 (DSO)    ----   0FIGL_C10 (Cube)

Hi Nishuv,

As said by Vijay and Prashanth both flows are correct, but data is based functionality in Source. 0FI_GL_10 is based on Old concept GL and 0FI_GL_14 based on new Leader concept.

Check there base tables and there data or talk to functional consultant if they are using New Leader concept or old and based on same you can decide your datasource and flow.

As  told by Ganesh - check older version 0FI_GL_10 and new vesrion GL  0FI_GL_14 related datasources.

Need to more analysis from functional  side, as well as technical side according to Reporting requirement.
