Hi Rich

I had registered a developer under 'SSCR Keys' tab and i got a registration key also.

But when i try to change the SAP program (SE38) by putting that key against the access key, system gives a error i.e. 'invalid entry'.

Please Advice.

Is it giving an error because you are not register as a developer or because the object is not registered. Are you entering the developer key when it asks for a registration key for the object? Try creating a "Z" program in SE38. It will ask you for a developer key. Copy and paste the developer key to this field. Make sure there are not spaces before or after.

Let us know.

Hi Rich

Both the object and developer is registed and when i am creating 'Z' program it is not asking for developer key.

I want to change SAP program 'lebnef0f' and the system is asking for ACCESS KEY to change it. Please advice how to go about it.

Thanks

Ravi

Ok cool. So now we know that you are a registered developer. Have you registered the LEBNEF0F object on the same website. Did you get an access key for this object?

Hi Ravindra,

You have to get the access key for the program 'lebnef0f'. At the same place 'SSCR key' you can find an option to generate access key for objects. Here select the radio button 'Register Object' and select the correct installation.

Once you have selected the installation, a popup will come and you have to enter the following details.

Basis Release <- You Basis release

PgmID <- R3TR

Object <- FUGR

Object Name <- EBNE

Now press 'Register' button and you will get the access key.

Cheers

Vinod

When registering your object, make sure to use....

PgmId: R3TR

Object: FUGR

Object Name: EBNE

You can see these values if you enter your program name in SE38, click display, click Go To -> Object Directory Entry.

By any chance if you are trying to apply an OSS note correction and you have SNOTE transaction on your system, you can use SNOTE to download and apply the OSS note . It will not ask for an ACCESS key. If you donot have snote transaction , then while registering the object you have to choose the correct installation number ( sometimes service.sap.com logon id is not linked to the correct installation number ).

Cheers.

Go to service.sap.com, click on the Support Portal link. You will need your OSS userid and password. Once, you are in. Click the link in top level navigation "Keys and requests". Now click on SSCR Keys. If you have the permissions, you should be able to register as a developer and get your key. Here you can also register objects.
