Hi,
I am looking to integrate entry and approval link as below to SAP Portal.
http://xxxx-xxx.xxxxx.local:50000/strategy/metricsmanager/metricsmanager1.jsp?DBName=SSMPBI
When create a link to SAP portal and execute it gives an access denied error. Scorecard link open without any issue. Has anyone successfully integrated E & A data entry link before ?
Kindly suggest. Thanks
We have had the same issue since installation and no solution has been found. We have advised users to view this as an alert and to visit Entry and Approval page where the users KPI's will appear in My metric sets at the top of the page. The links provided with the alert do not work.

Kris, we are facing the same issue. We were able to get the SSM frontend working, but no luck with E+A page.
Anyone else facing this?
Regards

Hi
What version of SSM and SP are you on?
According to http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1808965 your link should be correct, unless something has changed with the new SP09...assuming you're on SSM10.
I will test this on my side too.
Hi,
I have tried the note it clearly says the links can be used directly in browser not through portal.
They don't work when you integrate them with SAP portal.
Demo Launcher was available in 7.5, in 10.0 I believe it is changed to Lanchpage.jsp. ( Which Needs Java skills. )
Below is the reply which I got from SAP when I posted a message.
I have raised a SAP message and go the below reply.
Please note that the links provided in KBA 1808965 are to be used in a
normal browser access of SSM application. Concerning the integration
of SSM with Enterprise Portal, the link to the SSM application should
be the following:
http://<nwce_server>:<port>/strategy/pilotworks/eplaunch.htm
This is documented in the Configuration Help SAP BusinessObjects
Strategy Management 10.0 section "5.1 Setting a Link to the
Application from Enterprise Portal" (page42)
The configuration of other links pointing to specific modules of SSM
(like E&A or BICA, etc) is considered as customization and is out of
Primary Support scope.
You may consult note 83020 (attached) for further details on what is
considered as support and what is considered as consulting.
