Hi All,

I could see some error log entries in dev_rout log file like

*** ERROR => NiRClientHandle: NiRExRouteCon for C292/-1 'x.x.x.x' failed (rc=-2) [nirout.cpp   2653]

ERROR => NiIRead: SiRecv failed for hdl 325/sock 8

    (SI_ECONN_BROKEN/104; I4; ST; P=x.x.x.x:3299; L=x.x.x.x:50137) [nixxi.cpp    5086]

*** ERROR => NiHLGetHostName: NiPGetHostByAddr failed (rc=-1) [nixxhl.cpp   495]

Could some please help me to understand what this error log means.

Regards

Shanthosh

Hello Shantosh,

These kind of errors comes up when the Route permisison is denied. Make sure you have the correct entries in the SAPROUTTAB table.

Hi Mudasir,

No, the issue is still not resolved.

I have the below log entries in my dev_rout file,

1. *** ERROR => NiHLGetHostName: NiPGetHostByAddr failed (rc=-1) [nixxhl.cpp   495]

2. ***LOG Q0I=> NiIWrite: P=x.x.x.x:48725; L=x.x.x.x:3299: send (104: Connection reset by peer) [nixxi.cpp 4603]

3. *** ERROR => NiIWrite: SiSend failed for hdl 134/sock 11

    (SI_ECONN_BROKEN/104; I4; ST; P=x.x.x.x:48725; L=x.x.x.x:3299) [nixxi.cpp    4603]

4. ***LOG Q0I=> NiIWrite: P=x.x.x.x:48725; L=x.x.x.x:3299: send (32: Broken pipe) [nixxi.cpp 4603]

I'm lot confused about what these log entries are trying to tell me.

Please help.

Regards

Shanthosh
