I plan to extend the accounts application of PCUI with customer specific tabs on ODC1.I've read most of the implementation guide and many posts here on sdn, but still havn't understood completely how to do it right.
So far I've made a copy of the accounts application with the BAB and it has created a new application and application layout in the customer blueprint tables - so far ok.
Then I wanted to introduce my own tab in ODC1, but keep all the standard ones. I have entered a new tab into the Group Tab Page ACC_01 in the customer tables (which have been empty so far) - but as I tested the app all the other tabs have disappeared from ODC1! Do I have to enter new tabs into the SAP customizing tables (crmc_blueprint_c)? Or do I have to copy all entries from the SAP blueprint tables for all tabs into the customer area?
I'm not really sure when to use the customer tables and when to use the SAP tables. And from what I see in the Implementation guide - there is no really hint to this. They are also using SAP tables for most of their examples! Won't this lead to difficulties when you want to upgrade the system later??
I would really be thankful if someone could point out when to use crmc_blueprint_c and crmc_blueprint.
