Semi finish to be consumed at FG report.

Hi friends

I need help in building up a logic for a development: Kindly help me out:

Its a pharma industry - PP - PI implemented with batch management.

Semifinished product is getting used in making of two FG products. There is some semifinished stock. The user wants to know for which FG product the existing semifinished stock was produced and accordingly show in the report.

Thanks & Regards

    Hi Shaikh,

You can see the feasibility of following logic,

Define a characteristic, let say Add_char, in class of SFG material (both 300 & 023) & assign values FG1 and FG2 to it.

When a production order is released for SFG, this field can be updated with value FG1 or FG2. When SFG batch is confirmed, value of Add_char would be copied from production order to batch classification of SFG batch.

Map this field into your report to see which batch is planned for which FG batch/material.

PS: Assuming that planning person knows what he is planning for.

    Hello,

If I understand your requirement correctly then you are looking the traceablity ( where used list ) i.e which finished goods batches is using the particular semi-finsihed material batch . We can find this information through batch information cockpit ( T Code : BMBC) . There we can perform the 'Bottom up' and 'Top Down' analysis in usage section.

    Hope this information helps

    Cheers
