Please do not use BDC for creating customers. There is a standard DI/Bi program available in LSMW for the purpose.

Your observed behaviour of changing screen sequence based on account group is very much true. You don't need the same set of screens required for a sold-to party customer and a bill-to party customer. Some times even some fields in the screen are made mandatory or optional or no-display depending on account group. This is pretty common. BDC recording does the recording of what you do on the screen. So if you recorded the session for one account group, that is the one it will work for. If you want to take the BDC route, then you will have to create one for each account group. The screen sequences are controlled in config.

    that's right:

so the mapping is dependent from account group

and you've to consider that fact in a migration program.

    Hi ,

In LSMW you have the option to use standard batch input or IDOC cremas . Why not use this option, it will automatically take care of vendor account groups.
