HI,

I have created a iView with WebDynpro and i have added the iView to a page in my case test_page.I am able to see the preview with the iView. Then I have created a role and added my page and iView to it. Then I have created a new user TestOne and added the user to the Role. Then added the user to the page as a end user with read permissions. Then I am loogged in the portal with the user id TestOne but i am not able to see the anything except the title of the page which is with login details.

I am new to this. can anybody help me how can i view mypage when i log in with the TestOne user.

Thanks,

Ashok.

Go to Content Admn -> Iview created by u - > properties ->

Choose Entry point Yes ->

Assign this to an Workset / Role and Allocate that Role to your Portal id using 'Sytem Admin ' in the navigation panel.

Hi Ashok

The best place to start learning Portal is to start with help.sap.com.

You have plenty of documents on SDN too. But all these documents either deal on a specific topic or give a very broad overview of Portal. So its better for you as a begginner to start with the documentation.

Here are some links for your benefit

Portal in general

Hope that was helpful

Happy learning

Hi,

Edit the role, goto property editor->navigation, set the entry point to YES.

Now you should be able to see the page you have created.

Thanks
