Nature of Service for Service Tax related reports

Dear Sir,

As per the statuary requirement in India , for Service Tax related report (Service Tax Recoverable report)  , the nature of service need to be made available in the report column .

During passing of entry related to service tax ( it may be either thru MIRO or FB60 ) , we have not been able to figure-out any option where nature of service can be mentioned .

We request SDN members to kindly guide us on this issue pl .

Hi,

As per new changes w.e.f 01.07.13, a new change for tax determination has been applied (Reverse Mechanism). Now for each nature of service the tax determination is differnet. You can achieve this by creeaating tax codes with refernce to nature ofservice.

You can also create service category, and define the nature of service as service category. There are some table maintaence for this, you can get in logistcs Genreal- Tax  on goods Movement.
