Hello all,

After installing a Brand-new-yet-standard BO 4.2 SP03 Patch 03, trying to login into Tomcat.(standard ports\settings)

While using the server's DNS with the address XXX:8080/BOE/CMC, any attempts to log in, redirect to the following blank page(DNS=Server name):

http://DNS:8080/BOE/CMC/1701150721/admin/App/home.faces?service=%2Fadmin%2FApp%2FappService.jsp≈pKind=CMC&bttoken=

while using localhost inside the address, the CMC logs in successfully, with address: localhost:8080/BOE/CMC.

Steps made:

  • All access\attempts are made from inside the BO server.
  • BO 4.2 over Windows Server 2008 R2.
  • Antivirus OFF, Firewall OFF
  • tried to Fix installation + Wdeploy.
  • localhost + DNS are inside trusted sites with minimum security.

It is a new customer that should Go-Live - therefor High priority.

How can we inquire root causes for successful login with "localhost" versus unsuccessful logins with the DNS itself?

Somebody has any idea ?

Thanks alot!
