Hello,
I have recently upgraded to BO 4.0 SP7, and now reports on Chome hang.
Reports are working ok for Firefox and Internet Explorer but not for Chrome.
Do you know about this issue?

I am also facing problems displaying Webi documents in the latest Chrome browser.
Someone at SAP confirmed the issue, and indicated that a fix would come in version 4.1 SP2 Patch1

I will suggest to update the JAVA for the chrome which might be causing the issue.. As far as chrome support goes its fully supported to run report..

Can you try to run the report by changing to HTML panel (from preference) and see if the report run or face any issue..
Also try to use a HTTP trace to see what the report is doing while it gets hung.. any error message you receive (like time out or anything) ..
Is this happening for all report or any specific report?
