Hi Venet,
Transaction SPRO (this is the IMG) and click on the glasses button (F5).
Under the following path:
-> Customer Relationship Management -> CRM Middleware and Related Components -> Communication Setup -> Set Up Logical Systems
Set up the logical system and then assign it to the client. I suggest you read the document on the left of each section to understand what you are doing.
More information can be found at http://help.sap.com

Hi,
Before creating BP you need to create a Logical System and assigned to the Client in CRM.These are the basic communication set up before you create a BP.Are you trying to integrate with backend R/3?If so , you need to create RFC Destinations in CRM.Use Transaction Code SM59 to do that in CRM.

Hi Venkat,
In IMG Guide, CRM ->Communication Set up --> Defining Logical System.
Then Create a Logical system for ur CRM system.Next step would be assigning the logical system to the application client. CRM ->Communication Set up --> Assign to the Client.
Then u need to create RFC Connections for ur Oracle 9i backend.Go to SM59 transaction to create the RFCs.
If you find this answer useful, pla give me some points.
Thanks.
Sudhan
